I tried every trick I knew of, from picking the lock to digging it open. Nothing worked!
The sun was getting more intense, and my phone battery was slowly dying. To top it all off, I was starting to feel embarrassed as neighbors came out to peep.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a kind neighbor pointed out calling a locksmith. Let me tell you, that phone call was the most pricey one I've ever had. The locksmith showed up and quickly got my door open.
Lesson learned? Maybe. But mostly, all I feel is relief.
